I told you guys I would add updates later. So after I went to bed at 7AM, I woke up at 12PM because I thought that the UPS guy would come around that time but in actuality, he came around 3PM. I told myself to get up because I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep until I got my new lens for my camera & I’ve basically been running on 5 hours of sleep. I’m super tired right now…yet I’m hungry. I experimented with the new lens & even though I only have a couple of pictures to show for it, let me tell you, it’s amazing. I LOVE it to death. I can zoom in all the way across the pond to see the golfers golfing. I can’t wait until I go on the Mexican Riviera cruise this Winter!

Wendy has this great tutorial for installing lightbox so I used lightbox to clean up my Art section. The gallery albums will never change. For one, I’m way too lazy to thumbnail all of those pictures & re-code. So, deal.

It’s been two months since I’ve changed my layout, yay. I don’t have time to constantly change my layout. So it obviously features the very talented actress, Natalie Portman. I was going to put her name on the banner but there were no good spots! The background & textures that I used were my own. I took pictures of a leaves in a pond so it’s kind of wintery/autumnish. I hate coding new layouts, it’s such a pain, especially because every time I make a new layout, I always start at around 11:30PM & don’t stop until 6AM or something. It’s almost 7, holy crap I need to go to bed. I tried to learn how to skin my layouts but I failed miserably.

I told Vy that next year, I’m going to buy my own domain & I’ll set up a little blog for her. She’ll be vy.aestheticintoxication.com! Haha I’m going to get a domain from AshPink. I’m really excited for it. If you guys are looking for great hosting/domains, go there. The prices are amazing. This will happen next year or so. So don’t change your links yet.

I had a quiz yesterday & I don’t think I did that well, & I seriously studied too. DAMN! I got Bobby addicted to Desiree’s forum. He’s been a member for probably 3 days & already has more posts than most of the members who have had their accounts for a lot longer. Addicted much?! ENTER IN HER PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST HERE!!!!!! I’ve got a bunch of things to do right now so please excuse me if I don’t have a huge update for you guys. I need to read for Political Science & I also need to write a review on the essays I read. I also added a new feature to the site. It’ll probably be updated quite often. I can think of a lot of things to put up. In addition, a new layout is a must. I’m definitely going to skin the site. I was thinking of adding two new skins, one featuring a leaf in a pond (more guy friendly/neutral) & a layout featuring Josh Hartnett, again. Or maybe one featuring Natalie Portman? I don’t know, you guys tell me.

Last night, I made sushi for Alex Vo, Bryan, Kim, Pearl, & Vy. Everyone made their own sushi besides Alex. It’s too bad Alex Nguyen couldn’t come over. I had a lot of tuna & salmon left over so I chopped it all up & mixed it with my special sauce along with avocado & cucumbers. Seriously delicious & better than the sushi restaurants I go to that make me pay $10 for a dollop of spicy tuna on a chip. I think one day, I will add the recipe of it on the site. Later this week, after Thursday, when all of my tests are over, I will add the recipe for making sushi.

Sorry, please ignore this, I needed to write down my homework to-do list so that I could cross crap out.

I just voted. I am so glad that I finally got to be a part of something so big this year. It really felt like this year, my vote counted, even though I live in California where the vote is always Democrat, it felt great to vote. Especially because I live in the most conservative county & I honestly cannot believe the ridiculous things that were said & done during this election but finally, for the first time in my life, I am very proud to be an American. Tonight, history was made–I am so happy that I got to vote for the first African-American President. Barack Obama won by a landslide in the electoral votes. I couldn’t be more proud to say that our president is Barack Obama. I didn’t vote for him just because he’s of African descent, I voted for him because his issues & his plans for America, I believe, will lead us in the right direction. History was made & to all of you who voted, whether for Barack, John, or Ralph Nader, you were a part of something so historical that you should be proud. There are over 300 million Americans, 207 million are eligible voters, 150 million are registered voters, & around 120 million of you got up & participated. I am so glad that so many of you decided to take a stand, registered, & voted. Especially the youth! Some of the propositions, however, did not turn out the way I had hoped. One day, discrimination will not be tolerated in California; we are BETTER than that & we chose not to vote that way. Despite this, I have so much hope, optimism, & excitement for these next 4 years.

First of, I’d like to thank all of you so much for voting for me in Zoe’s Site of the Month Contest! I won & only by a mere 2 votes. Talk about YOUR vote totally counting! In other news, how was everyone’s Halloween? I’ve read that most of you guys had a great time. Kyrie told me that I should add more textures & when I took a look at the textures I already had, I realized the new ones I added are very sloppy so I’m going to edit those when I get the chance to. Halloween was really fun! I went trick-or-treating with Pearl, Joey, & their friend (I know his name, I just don’t know how to correctly spell it). This drunk guy tried to steal my pillowcase of candy. I had my camera & my phone in it too so I held onto my pillowcase really tightly. He was joking around but seriously, he LAID HIS HANDS ON MY PILLOWCASE OF CANDY!!! Then we went through some sort of Haunted House deal & this kid, in attempt to scare me, sprayed water on me. Ooo, you really scared me, little one. Then we all went to Full Moon to eat. Stephen (it could be Stefan) paid for all of our food. It was really sweet of him.

Afterward, I went to Alex Kim’s house & met up with Vy. They were already watching the Blair Witch Project so I ended up watching the end of it. Pictures are up!

Maybe some of you recall, but I go over to Alex Nguyen’s a lot so I took a picture of his view for you guys to see. Breathtaking, right?! The quality isn’t that great, surprisingly, my settings on my camera were being really stupid. Plus, I’m still new at the whole DSLR camera shindig. Sorry for the confusion, okay Alex Nguyen is my host. Hence, why in my address is alexqn. “Q” stands for his middle name & “N” stands for his last name. Alex Kim is my Korean Chef! He’s a great cook.
